We started our program today with some goal setting and discussion. Bela talked to us about the cultural differences and some things to avoid. She told us a story of a volunteer who went to a village school and very nearly ended up married because she didn't understand what was being said... Apparently she was talking to an elder and the lady asked her if she wanted to get married, the 19 y o then agreed thinking yes one day I will get married. Things went along...

Weser off at 8 am and headed for Delhi . We were told the 250 km ride would see us at CCS at 1pm. But no... We arrived at CCS at 3.30 in the afternoon. Our trip to Varanasi drew to a close and we all got into the Ganpati guest house 4WD and headed to the airport. On the side of the road we saw a man that I at least thought was dead. He was covered in flies and wasn't moving much, but as it turns out he was just smelly (lol).
