Today in the itinerary was described as a day at leisure and it was. We got up at 9am when the girls decided they had let us lie in long enough and that they needed their breakfast. Alex then with very little help laid the table for us. After breakfast we walked to a truly excellent playground on the Esplanade. Our slight error was not taking the girls swimmers with us as they had water play, so we let them just get wet as the sun would soon dry them out. The difference in their ages really showed her as Alex was far more confident around the water jets than Elizabeth. After the park we walked to the main shopping centre to buy a new holdall as we somehow are spreading out of the ones we have, how I do not know as we have not bought that much or at least I do not think we have. We had lunch in the foodcourt here.

We then walked back to the hotel changed and went to play in the pool at the Esplanade which was lovely again. It is bizarre how the temperature was reading 31C and yet when you came out of the pool it took a little time to warm up, maybe we are getting used to the temperature just in time to return home. Now back at the room having dinner and putting the girls to bed. This evening I will try and do some level of packing for Saturday so we don't have it all to do tomorrow night.

Tomorrow I expect to do pretty much the same only this time shopping for our train journey picnic.
