Hello again, im now in Hanoi after the 14 hour train journey through most of which I was half asleap and hallucinating that a spider was falling on my face - apparently down to the malaria tablets.Getting used to the overnight trains and they mostly entail hours of card games and bread with cow cheese and Pringles!
So over the last few days I have gotten myself completely lost as to where I am and where iv been, Hoi An, Hanoi, Nha Trang, Da Nang and probably more, wer moving really fast at the mo, which is a shame because I would really of liked to have spent a bit longer at some places. The last place we were in, we went on a really good moped tour which took us around to all the hot spots and also some of the unseen stuff like a market way out in a tiny country village. The market was mainly meat and veg and it smelt kinda bad and also was a bit worrying the way the meat was chucked around and chopped up but it was great to see!
The night before was quite a big one in a bar called DMZ and once again featured lots of pool with locals, im getting so much better, I could be a hustler one day.
In the evening we went to a restaurant which had costumes and we all dressed up as a royal party and had a royal banquet, this was so good and the food was presented beautifully.
On route to somewhere (sorry im so confused) we went over the Hi Van Pass which was really high but unfortunately too cloudy to get the full effect. We also stopped off at Marble Mountain which had great views and some beautiful architecture. There was also a cave with a huge Budda carved into it which was awesome. The pics don't show how amazing it was at all, but it was huge.
We have spent most of today walking around the city and visited the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum which was quite strange, we were ushered in 2 by 2 in silence and walked around the body and then back out again.
I have to go again, sorry these are always so rushed! Much Love xxxxx
