This was by far the shortest travel day that we have done, yet we still had to dock 4 times!
So to start with, our original plans were to stay on the Village Dock in Alexandria Bay with no electric or water. Our stop at Keewaydin was planned as a cheap ($30) low key overnight stop before heading into Canada. What we should have done was stayed there for our entire stop at Alexandria Bay.
Keewaydin does not staff the marina, and but other than that the marina is clean and well kept. We only had 30amp electric, and Inconseavable had problems with the new GFIC outlets, but they were able to get it sorted out.
Before we left Bonnie Castle Marina, I had to move our boat so I could load the dingy. Our slip was so narrow to get the dingy to the back of the boat. Once we left we moved to the other side of Alex Bay to get fuel. Horizon Marine was supposed to open at 9am, so we time our departure to get there as they opened. After docking, we found no one there and no sign of when it would open. So off to fuel dock number two and our third docking of the morning. It worked out well as this marina was even cheaper than the first one. While it was the most we have paid for fuel yet on this trip, it was the cheapest around.
We spent the afternoon biking to two wineries and a go-cart track. The go-carts were a blast.
Tomorrow we head off to Canada, our first stop will be Gananoque, where we will spend two days.
