We arrived in Brisbane on Saturday 20th December and after getting a shuttle bus to the wrong hostel we arrived at the right one early afternoon!

We only had 1 night in Brisbane as our canoe trip in Noosa was a day longer than we thought so we didn't really get chance to look around. We went for a wander around the shops in the afternoon before heading back to the hostel to meet my friend Fiona. I met her 3 years ago when I was travelling in America and we have always kept in contact, it was lovely to see her. We met at the hostel that Matt and I were staying at and we had a drink there before moving on. The hostel was full of really annoying really drunk Irish people so we finished our drink quickly and left! We headed into the city and we went to a few more bars. We had a really good evening and a good catch up!
