Still many earthquakes damaged buildings visible and street closures in many areas of the city. Today we were up early to catch the Tranzalpine train from Cristchurch to Greymouth return. Another beautiful sunny day! Neat ride through the Canterbury Plains and the mountains in Arthur's Pass National Park. Lots of tunnels and bridges but not as spectacular as advertised! Up early to go to the Otago Farmer's Market at the famous Dunedin Railway Station. Weather is starting to get warmer as we are heading north and it is another beautiful sunny day. Walked downtown to R & R Sports this am before we headed out. Queenstown is a young, bustling city. Stopped at Gibbston Valley Cheesery and bought a variety of cheeses and a couple of fresh baquettes. Picnic lunch at Gorge Creek and enjoyed the warm sunny day.
