A huge thanks to Nick & Vick of www.langebaan-sunset.com for organisng such a successful and enjoyable weekend outing. And for putting us up for the night and hosting a memorable braai!

It was great to meet new faces and catch up with the more familiar ones. We all enjoyed wandering around the 4x4 tracks on the Salisbury plains. For those of you that don't know these public roads/right of ways cross live military testing ground areas but are open to public when not in serious use. Almost wherever you go you are seeing signs warning of the dangers of going off the tracks due to unexploded bombs going off!! Makes it exciting!

Special mention also goes to Richard for cooking the awesome steaks and providing the fine cuban cigars. Who says you can't camp in style!

For those of the overlanders that are off on your trip soon (and there are one or 2) - we wish you all the best and good luck! It has been great meeting you. For those that are around a bit longer hopefully we will see you soon! (L2B Land Rover Run?)
