We were 'showing Cathey off a bit yesterday' at a braai organised by friends of ours who are doing the trip too together with others who we have been in contact with through their website.

A big thanks to Bron and Andrew for organising such a good event. It was nice to meet up and finally put faces to names (and emails) and swap stories and tips etc. for the journey ahead! It was also good to check out all the Landies including Nic and Vic's shiny beast straight from Foleys Expedition Vehicles, well done guys, she looks great!

Not to be outdone though, Cathey received a few compliments with her tough military origins & credentials of having completed the trip once before giving her "houding" as quoted from my mate Sven P - which in Afrikaans means standing/position/conduct etc.. a bit like character but not quite!!
