We began the day at the Condor and Eagle cafe for breakfast, a little place run by an Irishman and his Bolivian wife serving excellent coffee and juice with decent breakfast fare also. After breakfast, we headed out for a walk along the shore of Lake Titicaca and were joined by an honour guard of the local strays, largely big, bushy, collie type dogs that were incredibly friendly! At one stage we were accompanied by a group of 8, much to the surprise of onlookers...

Finally feeling a little more alive we packed and left the Adventure Brew and hopped aboard the Bolivia Hop bus and were greeted by a bunch of very hungover Brits and a very gay, very alive Bolivian tour guide in knee high woollen socks. after a brief spiel about the hop service, we drove through La Paz and El Alto down to Lake Titicaca where we left the bus for a short boat ride, complete with hitchhiking dog, across the Tiquina Channel.
