(Sophie) - New York is a crazy place! I have seen a man dressed up as a woman (mummy tells me that he is a called a drag queen), she was looking very glamorous. I have also seen a tree wearing a jumper, two dogs wearing sun glasses, a wiggly eyebrow waiter who kept wiggling his eyebrows at me and Belle everytime he passed our table, three Batmen, two Hulks, five Elmos, two Cookie monsters, a Mario, a Minnie and Mickey mouse, a Spongebob, Woody and Buzz from Toy Story, three Minions, three Spidermen, two Captain America's, two Ironmen, three walking statues of liberty, a naked lady, a naked cowboy, and the Times Square baby (he was very freaky!).
We went on a speed boat trip called THE BEAST. This was a green boat with a big mouth and large teeth and eyes - so it looked like a beast. We went very fast and sped all the way to the Statue of Liberty with loud music playing as we went. On the way back we had some fun - we did some doughnuts and went even faster. This man named The Joker went round soaking us with a super soaker water machine gun - he got me right in the face. When the music was playing he put on big lips and went dancing around the boat.
After The Beast trip I watched dogs run around a special dogs only park. It had a dog paddling pool and lots of tennis balls which a man was throwing around. I really enjoyed watching the dogs playing.
Tomorrow, for our last day, we are off to explore Central Park and it's going to be a hot sunny day.
(Belle) - Today we explored the shops around Times Square. We saw so many people dressed up it was amazing. If you wanted to have a photo taken with them they shook their tip bag at you - so I was sneaking around taking photos of them.
We went into ToysRus which was really big like Hamleys in London. It had a huge Barbie house inside, a big wheel you could ride, a massive moving T-rex from Jurrassic Park, and some lego models such as the Hulk and King Kong climbing the Empire State building. There was a Wonka sweet shop with giant packets of sweets.
We also went into the Disney Store which had some stuff that you can't get in England. While we were queueing a lady was asking questions about Disney films and we answered so many correctly that we got four stickers and some Disney cards. Mummy bought a large cuddly Chewbacca and two of the shop people did Chewbacca impressions for us. They were not very good.
After this we went on a boat trip to see the Statue of Liberty. It was called The Beast and I loved it. I got very wet and The Joker was funny - it was the best boat trip of the holiday.
I then ran through some water fountains and got soaked. We then found a little water park where you could pump water and raise dams. That was fun!
We had dinner in Planet Hollywood. It was massive. Sophie and I got flashing drink cups which we can keep. There was lots of film stuff everywhere and Spiderman was crawling down the wall.
