Hey - sorry about the lack of writing - we've had a busy week!! we're now in our 3rd country in 7 days and so far having a brilliant time. We had our iniital 2/3 days in Bangkok then got a bus to the Thailand-Cambodian border and headed for Siam Reap (Angkor Wat) - journey to the border was fairly painless then major delays on the border (not really sure why!) then got about 50 year old school bus type thing the next 150km - was an experience - took 5 1/2 hours on a dirt track - was hilarious for the first 2 hours then we just had very very numb bums, a sore back and were covered in dust!! :)

Angkor was amazing - the temples were brilliant and we had 2 lovely days in Siam Reap and managed to take a trip to the nearby floating village which meant we got to see a bit more of rural Cambodia and how things are in reality.

On Monday we flew from Siam Reap to Vientiene (we've realised we were being far to optismistic about what we could do in the time we have so unfortunately have decided to scrap Vietnam (we'll just have to come back!!)). Not huge amounts to see in Vientiene despite it being the capital of Loas but it was a really nice little city and we had a nice afternoon yesterday wandering around - very very dodgey hostel tho!!! Set off this morn on a bus to Viang Vienne - a really small little town on the banks of the river - our hostel is amazing - got a balcony overlooking the river and perfect view for sunsets!!! :) we're off tubing tomorrow down the river - its suppose to be amazing (altho its dry season so not huge amounts of water but should be good!)

Anyway, hope everyone is well and England isn't too manky - we'll try and write again soon - we've just tried to upload photos onto here but no luck - we'll try again but sorry theres no pretty pics to look at!!
