Hey - thought we'd make contact quickly - we've been in Luang Prabang for 2 days now - its a world heritage site and is absolutely beautiful - took a trip to a waterfall today, definately worth it :) we're getting the slow boat in the morning to the Thai border (northern Thailand) - its a 2 day journey but the scenery should be amazing and its suppose to be worth it - hoping to see some elephants! (think we're going to have very very numb bums by the end tho!!)...

Just a quick update - were leaving Viang Vieng in the morning - its been raining since we got here unfortunately but its a lovely place, full of travellers and o so chilled out - they play Friends on every other bar! :) Its renowned for tubing (down the river) is awesome - phil braved the weather today but sophie chickened out cos its 5km rapids and its raining and cold and u all know how cold she is! decided to play it safe and hired a bike and met the guys at ...

Hey - sorry about the lack of writing - we've had a busy week!! we're now in our 3rd country in 7 days and so far having a brilliant time. We had our iniital 2/3 days in Bangkok then got a bus to the Thailand-Cambodian border and headed for Siam Reap (Angkor Wat) - journey to the border was fairly painless then major delays on the border (not really sure why!) then got about 50 year old school bus type thing the next 150km - was an experience - took 5 1/2 hours ...
