Just a quick update - were leaving Viang Vieng in the morning - its been raining since we got here unfortunately but its a lovely place, full of travellers and o so chilled out - they play Friends on every other bar! :) Its renowned for tubing (down the river) is awesome - phil braved the weather today but sophie chickened out cos its 5km rapids and its raining and cold and u all know how cold she is! decided to play it safe and hired a bike and met the guys at the bars along the river - was brilliant!!

Yesterday was brilliant - hired motorbikes / moped things and went to explore the caves and mountains across the river - such amazing views :) (i'm sorry mum, i know u warned me off motorbikes!! i should have listened - i crashed the bike into the ditch, broke the wing mirror and cut my leg!!! it was hilarious but did shake me up a bit, think i've had my motorbike fix!!!)
