Friday 6th April:rnrnChecked out but stayed at the hostel in the morning as our bus wasn't untill1.30pm. Em went for a run along the beach with Christt and got a bit lost on the way back but managed to ask a few pedestrians the directon and made it back in time. Arrived at the hostel which was really nice with a great bar which is always good to see! We headed out for dinner as we hadn't been shopping so didn't have anything to cook, found a nice place and sat there for a while before heading back to the hostel.rnrnSaturday 7th April:rnrnHad a very disturbed sleep last night as about 3am 3 Irish guys decided it would be funny to wake everyone up by coming into the room and flicking the light switch on and off whilst shouting "fire engine, fire engine"....we were not impressed! We discovered later that they trashed the place in the night and through loads of furniture into the pool etc. thankfully they were heading to Fraser to Island so wouldn't be coming back. rnrnWe were supposed to be going dolphin kayaking today but due to the weather (bit windy) it was cancelled and instead we were offered the chance to replace it with a surfing lesson. It was sooo much fun and we both managed to stand up for a bit before falling in! Em whacked someone round the head however whilst carrying the surf board.....they're heavier than they look! Soph was standing on hers for quite an impressive amount of time but in her excitement she turned round to wave and subsequently fell in! Which was very funny. We were exhausted after that so went back to Archies for dinner and had an early night. rnrnSunday 8th April:rnrnWe were really dissapointed today as we were supposed to be doing our sky dive but it was cancelled due to bad weather conditions so we moved it to do it in Mission beach further up the coast. We were leaving in the evening and the weather was so bad we were a bit limited with what we could do so we just stayed in the bar all day and watched a few films with some people. rn
