Thursday 5th April:

Today we were going to the Steve Irwin Zoo! We got our free bus with Christt and everyone else and arrived at the zoo about an hour later. The zoo was fantastic, especially the show in the 'crocoseum' where they fed the biggest crocodile in the zoo in a very Steve Irwin fashion - sat down next to the crocodile! There were also elephants, snakes and birds in the show which were all amazing.

The zoo was huge and plenty to see, we saw elephants playing football, dingos, crocs of course, snakes, lizards and plenty more. When you were there you could really get a feel for how much Steve Irwin's death had impacted the people and the memorial was really moving, there were rows and rows of karkhi shirts all with people's messages on. The zoo was so great and you saw how great Steve was too, we bought a book and a few souvenirs.

In the evening we had dinner with all the girls in our room, and they all headed out while we stayed in and had an early night.
