Monday 24th Sept
As Lindsay got university classes to attend, we decided to go horse riding to keep us occupied for 3 hours. It was very enjoyable ride.
During our ride, Daniel's horse had an itch on her back, she then decided to have a roll on the sand with Daniel on! Daniel jumped off in time before getting squashed by his horse! He felt that he didn't have controls on his horse. It dented his confidence so the guide held the rope to control his horse.
We ridden our horses for 3 hours. It certainly killed our legs muscles as it were very stiff! The only thing that we were disappointed was that we couldn't have a little run! We felt dirty as there were lots of sand being blown at us while we were riding. We saw few eagles flying above us. On our way back, Daniel gained a little confidence and was left riding on his own.
Lindsay then came and picked us up and took to the cave nearby. It wasn't what we expected, everything looked the same! We were on the guided tour for about 45 mins. We then had to rush off as Lindsay had another class to attend. While we had free time, we decided to update our blogs/photos before Lindsay's sister come at 6pm to take us out for a meal with her family.
They took us to the "western" style restaurant. Lindsay joined us later before we returned back to her house. It was our last night so we had to do packing (again!). Had an early night as we had to be at the Greyhound bus station by 7.40am for our bus at 8.40am to Flagstaff/Grand Canyon.
