Thursday 7th February
The sun were shining through our patio doors and we were pleased to see that the weather was finally lovely! We haven't had much luck with the weather lately as it seems to us that the rain loves following us each time we visit each place down on the coast!
We thought that to make the most of the weather, we decided to play tennis to get our legs exercise again. It was difficult to play due to the big puddles from last night being in the middle of the court! We played for at least 30mins.
We decided to chill out today by sunbathing on the hostel decking. Daniel went for a swim as well as relaxing in the spa while Lisa just simply sunbathed while reading her book.
Daniel decided that he had enough as the weather was too hot for him. He wasn't used to it after so many days of having rain so he returned back to the room, hoping to watch a dvd. Lisa just continued making the most of the sun for the rest of the morning and early afternoon.
Daniel came back to inform Lisa that he was going to book for Greyhound Coach to Byron Bay and on his return back, he explained that he managed to book the seats on the coach. Unfortunately the hostels in Byron Bay were fully booked. Daniel decided to go on the internet to see if he could get any luck to find at least one hostel in Byron Bay to be available. Lisa then joined him and helped him. Unfortunately we had no luck, so it meant that we had to change our desination which was Coffs Harbour. We had to miss Byron Bay which we were disappointed. While we were searching for the hostels in Coffs Harbour, the hostel we wanted was fully booked for the dates we wanted so it meant that we had to stay in Surfer's Paradise for one more night.
We had to change our booking with Greyhound few times such as desination & date/time. Once that was sorted and our stresses were over and done with again, we returned back to the supermarket to stock up on drinks.
We just relaxed in our room, watching the new season of Family Guy and LOST! We were annoyed that we couldn't understand without captions. So it meant that we do have alot of catching up on those shows once we get back to UK!
