Friday 4th January

We checked out and waited for the 10.30am airport shuttled that we have booked yesterday with the reception. Our flight wasn't till 1.20pm but we thought to save hassles, we got to the airport in good time to check ourselves in and grabbed the seats together on the flight.


THere was no delay on our flight but once we boarded on, we didn't leave on time, at least 20mins delay. Our flight was good and we had our lunch and drinks for free which Daniel was happy about!
Once we arrived in Cairns, we didn't arrive on time, it was about a hour later than expected! We made our way through the customs and asked the airport staff if they could phone the courtesy pick up from our hostel which they did. We waited for a long while and we were the last people to leave the aiport as others were already picked up or gone! While we were waiting, we were pleased to see the showers to cool us down as it was very humid!


Eventually the shuttle came after 30mins wait and took us straight to the hostel. So far the hostel looked decent and we have booked ourselves into 4 beds dorm for 3 nights. Once we got into our room, we were pleased to feel the air conditioning going to cool us down! Dumped our bags and went straight out to do food shopping for our dinner.


We decided to relax and borrowed the dvd from the reception which was Spiderman 3.
