November 13th Tuesday
Moving onto Westport, but first we visited to the Nelson National Park which we were meant to go for a walk for a couple of hours. Unfortunately due to the bad weather conditions, we weren't prepared to walk in the rain so the plan was ditched.
We watched the film on the coach to amuse us for a long journey again before arriving to the town of Westport where we have booked our adventures.
We booked ourselves to do Quad Biking while the popular activity was Jet Boating. We decided to save that for Queenstown.
There was only 3 of us who wanted to do Quad Biking. We were pleased cos it was much easier to know what was happening in the small group. It was much fun comparing to the one we have done in UK.
Due to the bad weather condtions, it meant that there was plenty of muds and puddles everywhere which guaranteed us to get very dirty. Luckily for us, they provided us the waterproof overalls so our clothes wouldn't get dirty. Phew!! No need to do the laundry as it was impossible to do it when we are on the move all the time, staying in each area for one night. Though we are planning to stay more than one night in Queenstown to do all the adventures that we have been saving to do such as Bungee Jump, Jet Boating and Canyon Swing.
Quad Biking was full of challenges and we had to ride fairly quick to catch up with the guide cos he do drive so fast and it was so easy to lose him, not knowing where to go!! We have reallly enjoyed it and glad that we have done it :)
Our activity lasted for about a hour and 30mins. When others came back from Jet Boating, we were secretly pleased that we didn't do it cos they were totally wet and cold. They experienced the feeling of ice storm hitting their faces and they were trying to keep warm!
Back on the coach and moved onto the hostel where we just relaxed. Unfortunately for Daniel, he is now suffering from the cold while Lisa is updating this blog.
Not sure what is going to happen tomorrow. We have lost count of where we are going next!!
We are looking forward to chill out and stay in one place more than one night in Australia!
