Friday Sept 28th

Again it was an early start to catch the coach to Las Vegas. It was reasonably comfortable. It was a 6 hours journey but luckily for us, it went quick as we were keeping ourselves occupied by reading, listening to music etc.

Once we arrived, we were amazed with how many casinos can be seen everywhere! Again, with no map we were searching for the famous strip as our hostel was based near it. With alot of asking for directions, we finally found it after a good 30mins walk from GreyHound Station. It were killing us as our rucksacks weren't comfortable! To our surprise, we were still full of energy... JUST!

We decided to wander around on the famous strip in the evening. Took us a good 10mins to get there. We went up to the Stratosphere Tower to observe the views. Notice that we seems to go up the tower almost in each place we visit?! There was a mini theme park at the top of the tower. As Lisa was up for anything new, she decided to have a go on one of the rides which was hanging off the top of the tower! It was fun but not scary enough! The views were just full of lights.

As Lisa had her excitement, Daniel decided to have his own excitement by going on the gambling machine. He put in $1 and gained $3, a beginner luck. But unfortunately he lost it again cos the machine was getting confusing! It was easy to keep spending on the machines but luckily we still managed to control ourselves!

Away from the machines, we went into one which does the circus acts for free. It was a bit like a funfair, any stalls you play on, you get a prize each time. We thought it was a bad idea for us as we don't fancy adding more weights for our rucksacks, especially with a very large cuddly toy!

We had fun walking around, seeing all the lights. We decided we had enough, especially with the time! We didn't realise it was 1am at the time. We decided to get a bus back as our legs have given up to walk back on the very long famous strip!
