Wednesday 26th Sept
Had a little lie in till we decided to make the most of the free breakfast and teas! We both decided to have a relaxing day, browsing around the town. There were few nice shops that sells handmade crafts/photos etc. We liked the photos, enough to consider to buy a couple. BUT first, we thought to browse around in case we spotted something better. In one shop, we spotted a "Willy Wonka" Choc bar. We thought that we got to buy it as a little childhood sovuneir!
We made our way to the park nearby to have our lunch. The park was very "foresty" feeling, like we were somewhere in Canada. Had a bit of fun on the swings. We then made our way back to the town to have a look again at the photos we liked. We decided to purchase a couple in the end. We ended up with 3 as the guy offered the deal, buy 2, get 3rd free. One of it was a pic of Grand Canyon. Other 2 were the nice views taken in Oregon.
Daniel was very thirsty so we decided to go back to the hostel so he can drink something that isn't water!
In the evening, we decided to go out for a meal for a change. We heard about the restaurant that does the buffet but unfortunately we couldn't find it. So we ended up into the restaurant that does something that wasn't steak or at least typical american food!! It was enjoyable meal along with our first Corona drinks since we left Adaire's.
One thing that we both have noticed that in the evenings, it does get really cold like as we are in England so we quickly walked back to the hostel, in search of the warmth! It was so strange cos it was so hot during the day and suddenly it was freezing in the evening.
We haven't been able to upload the latest photos as we have to pay for the internet. It would cost us a bomb with all the photos to upload!
So far, we have been enjoying our trip, especially with lovely weather. We are certainly making the most of the teas here!
One last thing, Lisa had an email from Offexploring website, asking if they could add the photo (The view from Empire State Building) that I took in New York into their library photos for others to view in public. Either Daniel and I, whoever took that one must be a very good photographer! ;)
