Good evening :)

It's 8:44pm, I'm sat on a couch with Jade (Eng) and Kristie (Aus)... We've just eaten a curry and are in a lovely warm chalet style cabin with most of the group! We all feel really chilled! :)

Today we had another long drive but on the way we stopped off at a Polar Wildlife Park. I got the chance to see animals from one of my favourite TV programmes, Yukon Men, in the flesh! Lynx, Wolf, Arctic Fox and Bear and Moose!

We then got back on the bus and made our way further up north to Skibotn. This was the destination for our Polar Plunge!!

Update - It's now 10:22pm and I'm sat back in my cabin with Chandan (India), Yacob (Saudi Arabia) and Todd (Aus). Meeting people from all around the world is one of the best things about travelling! :)

On arrival at this site we saw the bridge, the bridge over the river, the bridge over the ice cold river, the bridge over the river which I was about to jump off! I quickly got changed into my swim shorts and off I went! Below 10 degrees, rain and snow on the surrounding mountains. A few others went first and their reactions were brilliant... I climbed onto the top of the bridge and shouted as I jumped, 'To infinity and beyond!!'

It was breathtaking! The current took me down stream and I swam to the side getting my breath back with every stroke! I got out and climbed back to watch other people, it was very funny watching their reactions! I decided I would go for it once again and walked up to jump... This time I did my traditional style of jump! I hit the water and it hit me! The cold started to take my breath and as I struggled to the side I felt the cold attack me. All was good though and I went back to the site and jumped in the sauna! :) It was amazing! I sat in their for about half an hour chatting :)

I then had a shower before having tea and chilling in the girls cabin and starting this blog.

We have just been down by the lake where we made and fire and toasted marshmallows. From our cabin I am looking out of the river and mountains. The clouds are low and the sky is light, yet it's 10:38pm!

Im going to head back outside to see what the guys are up to before hitting the sack for tonight :)
