Despite the usual 1am - 3am wake up, we were able to get back to sleep and woke with expectation of our day in Disneyland.

A quick bite for breakfast and we were at the gates of Disneyland at 8am! First ride was Indiana Jones - what a great way to start the day. The highlight of the ride for both of us was the massive boulder rolling towards you (just like in the movie). Spencer was a bit apprehensive at first (memories of La Pal I think?) but loved it from then on. Other highlights of the day were the Matterhorn and Big Thunder railroad. Star Tours (check out Spencer's new t-shirt) and Splash mountain were also big hits. We had lunch at the Golden Horseshoe tavern in Fronteir Land which I remember going to when I last visited Disney in 1991 (I think?). There are some real fanatical Disney people (I think the adults get more out of the Jedi Training Academy than the kids!)

The crowds were swelling around 2pm (lots of kids from their graduating primary school class - a neat incentive!) so we decided to head back to the hotel for a swim and a rest before packing for our flight to Sao Paolo tonight.
