We had a good flight up to New York (Spencer slept most of the way). We arrived very early into JFK and after clearing customs we were at our hotel on 31st Street by 7:30am. Thankfully they had a room ready for us so we were able to freshen up. Spencer was keen to kick his ball so after a shower we walked down to Madison Square Park and the Flatiron Building.
