Monday June 16th A quick breakfast (great coffee – the Brazilians love their coffee!) and it was on to tour Horse riding tour. This was great – our horses took us around the jungle to the lake – on the way we saw some more birds, capuchin monkeys, hummingbirds and Jabiru storks. Sunday June 15th The chukalaka birds (the Pantanal alarm clocks) woke us up around 6am and we had breakfast. Our guide Flavio then took us on walking tour around the forest and wetlands around the Pousada. What an amazing trip. Like Kruger national park, the Pantanal is a bird watchers paradise! Saturday June 14th After the emotion of the game it was nice to be able to "sleep in" and in fact it was the first night in which we (in particular) Spencer had a jet lag free sleep. After our breakfast we relaxed around the hotel pool and watch some of the Colombia v Greece game.
