Hi all,

Just arrived in townsville, not much to see here. can't find wayne until he checks his email and realises that I dont have his number!! Im staying in a really weird hostel, its a bit of a dive. My room has a shower in it with just a tiny curtain to hide behind - should be interesting!!

Im going to bed now as i didnt get much sleep last night. I met up with my group for a bit and then met up with sholah and her roomates. We then had a mouse in the room and everyone got up at 4.30am to try and find it! This girl saw it run into someones food bag, next thing it scampers off with some chocolate! We never found it so we just had to go back to sleep.

One of my german roomates was chatting to me for ages this morning and she thought I was spanish!! Surely spanish and scottish accents can't be mixed up?!

I think im going to leave tomorrow if i dont see wayne. Might see if i can get an earlier flight to perth so i can start working sooner - ah the joys!! It will be nice to get to the west coast and away from all the 18year olds!!

Colin, don't worry, they are quite a nice group of women, quite def some of them but nice - and you dont have to sing hymns!!

Will, nice to hear from you. It was nice to have a good old moan to a fellow traveller! Hope new zealand goes well and you have lots of fun!!
