Mumbai - 21st February 2008 Up early, had a kind of breakfast-but was put off by the bugs which crept out of the toast! Taxi hassle to get one and then off to central Mumbai to get a train ticket. The train station is absolutely beautiful and one of the magical buildings that the english built. A mixture of English and India architecture it is massive and stunning. Hong Kong to Mumbai - 20th February 2008 Woke up with a massive hangover! Promised myself not to drink in India the way I feel today! Shanghai - 18th and 19th February 2008 Took the 10am train to Shanghai, arrived around midday. Then underground to the hostel in town which was right by the bund. an excellent place with a good bar and food and so central for all the sights.
