Wuhan 13th February 2008 Hi, After the 3 gorges cruise and the 6 odd hour coachride afterwards, I finally arrived at the end destination of Wuhan. Just really a big Chinese city, think population about 8 million. Nothing to do here really. Checked into the hostel with my 5 travelling companions and managed to get some decent hostel rooms. Xian to Chongquin - 9th February 2008 Spent the day in Xian and went to the Large Golden Goose Pagoda. A 7 story building in a large park just outside the city walls. Full of people enjoying the day off as its still Chineese new year celebration week. Kits flying everywhere. Went up to the top and took some nice photos. Hi Everyone, Well today is the 6th February - Chinese New Year Yesterday I spent the day walking around Xian and seeing some local sights. Xian is one of the few remaining cities in China with a large surrounding wall around the old city. Its really wide and you can walk on top so walked along it for a few kilometres, but then had had enough, as it will take you around 6 hours to walk right around.
