Missouri isn't known for a lot… one of its claims to fame though is its food. With a city that loves pizza and a city that loves BBQ, visitors are bound to find a meal they'll enjoy. IMO's pizza with it's "cracker thin crust" is a classic example of St. Louis style. And Kansas City style BBQ is known for using several kinds of meat with a molasses based sauce. Because Kansas City is in fact, in Missouri… even though President Trump seemed to have forgotten that when he congratulated the Chiefs on their Super Bowl win earlier this year. Visitors will find fabulous pizza and BBQ places hidden all over the state. Based out of Arnold, Bandana's BBQ with their smoky, dry-rub flavors and southern homestyle atmosphere, the biggest fan is bound to leave happy. With three locations in Columbia Shakespere's Pizza is a Mid-MO staple, visitors can request a ball of dough to play with while they wait for their food. They also offer their recipes frozen so they can go home with the newest customers who just can't get enough. If a visitor is in search of a unique dining experience, they're not going to be disappointed by Lambert's "home of the throwed rolls." That's right, the wait and kitchen throw guest's dinner rolls to their table from the kitchen. This place is bound to be a must on every tourist's list, talk about memorable.
