Missouri is the queen of hidden gems. In any part of the state visitors can find a unique place to spend their time, whether that time be sightseeing, shopping, or lodging. The TreeLoft at BaseCamp is a beautiful secluded treehouse near St. Louis is about twenty miles from the Missouri Wine Country. Speaking of, wine connoisseurs have been traveling to the Hermann vineyards for decades. As a result, the little river town has become home to some of the cutest bed and breakfasts. The Captain Wohlt Inn Bed and Breakfast sits right on the beautiful Missouri River and has easy access to the vineyards in the area. One of Missouri's not so hidden gems is the Branson Strip, which has been compared to Las Vegas… but in a much more family friendly kind of way. One of the hotels in that area is called the Stone Castle Hotel and Conference Center. Catering to the family friendly atmosphere of the city, this hotel has a variety of room layouts, including a family suite, and a game room. And when parents are in need of some time to relax, there is also a spa with packages available for purchase.
