We are now on Caye Caulker, one the many islands off the coast of Belize. It's so nice here. The water is just like u see it on postcards, amazing colours of blue and green. The island is so small we can see ocean both sides from many places. We spent our first 2 days riding around our bikes, swimming, snorkelling, meeting up with an Australian friend, relaxing and just enjoying not having to pack our bags and travel each day.
We had the best Lobster on our second night, grilled on a BBQ on the street, delicious!
Yeaterday we went on a full day snorkelling trip on a sail boat. It took us to many different spots including Belize's Barrier Reef - second largest in the world, after ours;)
The day was awesome. We got to swim with so many sting rays, sharks, turtles and hundreds of fish. We actually got to touch everything. Sarah and I even grabbed the tails of sharks:) It was amazing!! Will have some awesome photos and videos to show u off the day. After all the snorkelling we had a 2-3 hour sail back to our island sipping on the local 'Rum Punch'. We met these 2 guys from Sweden who own a Tattoo gun and they had the most ridiculous tattoos on their body. Pictures of dinosaurs and unicorns, looked like a 6yr old drew them:)
Off to Mexico today, staying in Tulum - famous for its beach front ruins!
