Cycled to Airport. Picked up van. Drove to Bouzigues for lunch. Swim then back to Sète.

Pedalled north from Gruissan. Though narrow roads and dusty lanes that zig-zagged across the salt marches. The scenery was very changeable - sometimes through tall dense bamboo and sometimes alongside rivers and canals. Hot and windy (wind coming from all sorts of directions). Tidied up last bbq at Chez Two and cycled east. An early climb of the Col du Fontjon certainly jolted the legs out of their slumber. After that we took on a stiff headwind in sweltering heat (full sun and 33 degrees). We cycled through Cruzy and Cuxac, passed north of Narbonne (in a new bypass), up and over La Clape hills and arrived at Gruissan (on the Mediterranean).
