Hey everyone,

Just a little email to say that we have arrived safely and that we are 7 hours in front of you!

We managed to get to the hotel by many forms of transport, but got there in one piece, we had to get a plane, bus then we had to look for a taxi - that didnt go to plan so we braved the subway and heard a lovely man singing, we looked down and it was actually a man singing with one foot dragging his way through the tube begging - little bit scary! we made it out of the tube and had to look for our hotel (baring in mind we had our huge backpacks - which were far too heavy, we could not carry them and have realised we will have to throw bits out!!) anywho back to the traumatic journey... we came out of the subway and were following instructions, we had to cross the road and found what we though was a zebra crossing but apparently it turns out in China the big strips in the road mean nothing! - we had so many beeps we had to run between cars nearly got crushed between two buses - i would like to add again this was while wearing the huge backpack!! anywho we are finally on the right road (or so we thought) we walk for 30 minutes which should of been a 2 min walk which in hindsight that should have given it away! well we turn back round and start walking back to the subway which we then saw our hotel is actually next to it!!

WE are in our hotelnow, here for two nights before we start our tour and it is lovely!
