Today got up bright and early to sort
Things out pre day trip.... Wifi is a very scare commodity in this place and all is chargeable..upto $6 an hour (£3). And if it is free with any purchase (unlikely) there is a 60mb limit/1hour usage. Ok if you want to email.... Nightmare for Skype and FaceTime! And breakfast.... Nightmare to find anything suitable...only things to purchase in supermarket to cook are sushi related items (as with most places to eat) or a loaf of bread for $4 (£2) outrageous.... But we finally made it to the bus and upto mount Eden..... A short climb and we were on top of a volcano! Views were amazing...so beautiful and you could see for miles....I've fallen in love with the Aukland skyline....we had lunch on top of the volcano... Where 2 japanese ladies kept insisting that we had our pics with them and kept repeating them til they were perfect...hmmmm

then it was back down to the city to meet izzat to get a bus to the museum.... As far as museums go, it was ok...not really my kind of thing as I'm possibly the least cultured person I know.... All I can say is that the "natural history" section scared the living daylights out of me and Matthew and Tom have a lot to answer to wrt their stories that have scared me about volcanos and the end of the world.... Both will be pleased to know that my list of concerns has again altered and the NZ volcanoes and plates have topped it.... To the point that the simulation made me scream and cry (the children in the simulation had no concerns about it whatsoever.... Yet I was the pansy screaming...!) and I'm now living in constant fear....

Then it was onto meet Awen and Daf for dinner and drinks and we stumbled upon a pub quiz.... We came 5th....out of 10... Considering that most categories revolved around NZ culture we did well!
