...Champs-Élysées and had lunch at McDonalds trying to work out internet access luck. Also had a coffee at Starbucks trying to skype family without luck (rip off). Cannot find a tourist information office - then eventually find they are not open during the winter. Go figure, in the most visited city in the world. After much walking, back to our room for a good night rest. We are starting to feel normal!!

Notre Dame....

Got up early (watched an old Gary Cooper movie) and walked to Le Metro cafe for our first Paris coffee & internet. Walked to the Seine River,

The manager of the apartment was no where to be seen. The lovely French shop keeper from the Toni & Guy shop next door was kind enough to help with internet access and we eventually got in after 11am. Exhausted, we slept till 7pm. Found a lovely supermarket around the corner for some food supplies.

Arrived in Paris at Charles de Gaulle airport exhausted. Exited customs, before Sue realised she left her jacket on the plane. She went back through customs to successfully get it back. Then Jenny realises that her suitcase on the airport trolley is missing a wheel...broken in transit, making it impossible to travel further.
