Also working out the Metro Information Employment criteria:

- doesn't like tourists

- doesn't speak English (your getting the idea).
We have found a few Metro employees that have really fit the bill (though in all fairness some of them have been really nice).

Surprise birthday present...dinner & show at the Moulin Rouge...wonderful. Acts of a couple roller skating on a small platform, a water tank appearing with a woman swimming with huge cobra snakes, gangster acrobats & a ventriloquist act amongst the spectacular & colourful dancing. Entry was 7pm with the B class warm up act we think included Emanuel from Faulty Towers series.

Caught the train to the La Fayette area for some warm indoor R&R shopping. Lots of other big shops with the big names, including Printemps. Expensive & up market. Baguette & ham for lunch in a cafe, we then went to "The Paris Story"...history documentary of how Paris evolved & changed over the centuries. Back to our apartment in the afternoon for a quick kip, before....

Cold & rainy day. Started the day with a breakfast at Les Deaux Margot Cafe ...coffee, chocolate croissant & baguette with butter & raspberry jam. YUM!!! Was able to use the internet & skype Kate, Nichola & Andy.
