Closing thoughts on Boracay......

"Quit your job, Buy a ticket, Get a tan, Fall in love, Never return".......so said a coffee shop tshirt here in Boracay.

They are not wrong. Whilst its all a little bit plastic here in Boracay due to the huge amounts of money coming in from Japan and Korea, it still has lots of charm and i have hugely enjoyed my three weeks in paradise.

Yes, there were girls in welding masks playing tennis on the beach, yes it was phenomonally expensive to eat here (60p an apple, 4 quid for an omlette) and everyone was far too polite for my liking but my training took place in a perfect beach setting. I ate Bangsilog (milk fish for breakfast), lots of spinach and craved their lovely meat dishes.

I hope i never have to listed to Bob Marley covers again though...too much!! ;-)

I ran for 100km, lost 4kg in weight, trained with Filipino Body builders, dived a wreck, kite surfed with the best and had the time of my life.....

Oh and ive put a video of cockfighting, the legal and highly popular sport. Be warned its not that pleasant.

But now i must move on. I need more adventure so i will wish Boracay the best and im sure i will be back one day.
