Well we are in Koh Samui..eventually!! We left Koh Chang on Friday morning at 9.30, took the ferry to Trat and then transferred onto a double decker bus for the 5 and a half hours but that was nothing compared to the 13 hour bus journey from Bangkok ( which was made worse by the driver, who was playing a country cd!!) We arrived at the ferry village at about 5.30 on saturday morning and then had to wait in this little hovel that we think was meant to be a bus sta...

Its has rained contantly for the last 4 days and we have not been able to do anything!! Koh Chang has had so much rain that the road outside our hotel is flooded and it comes up to mid calf level! Hey peeps, Well that us in Koh Chang safely.. All I can say for the island is, Paradise! It is all tropical jungle, mountains (like the ones in movies where they disappear into the clouds) and white sandy beaches!! Yesterday we took the bus from Bangkok to Trat, which took about 5 hours but the buses are excellent, really clean and they even gave us a wee snack pack! Very impressed!
