Hey peeps,

Well that us in Koh Chang safely.. All I can say for the island is, Paradise! It is all tropical jungle, mountains (like the ones in movies where they disappear into the clouds) and white sandy beaches!!

Yesterday we took the bus from Bangkok to Trat, which took about 5 hours but the buses are excellent, really clean and they even gave us a wee snack pack! Very impressed! After arriving in Trat we took the 45 mins ferry to Koh Chang central pier, then a taxi to our hotel. It went surprisingly smoothly, as we were a bit nervous before we started off, but it is good to know that we can make our own way in the world and not get lost!! We were meant to be staying until Tuesday and then moving on but the hotel and the island are so good that we have decided to stay until Friday. We have a gorgeous view of the sea so we have taken lots of pics. The pools are amazing and the room is lovely...good times!! As we didn't arrive here until tea time last night we just decided to take a stroll along the beach and watch the sunset (truly magical) and obviously there are more pics of this!!

There is loads to do on the island, so this week we are planning on Snorkeling, an Elephant trek into the jungle, a trek to the biggest waterfall on the island and obviously lots of relaxing by the pool/beach!
