Hello!

Today we have a 4hr bus to Mt Abu. We will miss Udaipur. It is very hot here today, 35 degrees. Simon is not feeling his best today, unbelievably he has a nasty cold!
Yesterday we went to Ranakpur temple and Kumbhalgarh fort. The wall surrounding the fort is the second longest in the world at 34km. The fort was huge and the views from the top were incredible. The temple at Ranakpur is all carved very intricately from white marble. It was very beautiful. However, many areas in the temple were off limits to foreign tourists. On our drive to get to the temple we saw wild baboons and lemurs in the trees in Kumbhalgarh nature reserve. We also had to stop on countless occasions (including on the motorway!) to let herds of cattle cross the road. There were also many motorbikes who drove down the motorway the wrong way! It was an experience!
