The difference between Malaysia and Singapore when crossing the border was very noticable. All the expensive cars were sparkling clean!! Cameron Highlands is a large area in Malaysia full of tea plantations and forest areas. The weather very similar to that of the UK and was pretty warm when the sun was out. The journey from Koh Tao to Penang in Malaysia was epic. We boarded the night train (thankfully the right one as we almost hopped on two others) and found our carriage.
