Vicky and Natalie's Adventures
I absolutely love La Paz! Its a really bustling city (this picture isn{t actually la paz though). I had intended to go shopping here pretty much the entire time we were there but I got distracted walking around. After getting up early and leaving Nat in bed into one of the other people from the truck and we ended up spending the whole day just walking around the non-gringo areas. We found some fantastic cake shops so we were both very happy! There was a little incident where a man with a massive gun came up to us and told us we couldn't walk on his side of the road. This was rather confusing until we realised we'd stumbled on the president's house! It seemed quite alright for us to walk on the other side and through a load of military police though. Natalie and I did manage some shopping though I didn't manage to get any trousers...which is unfortunate as I've ripped both pairs I brought with me and have done a pretty bad job at sewing them up! We went to visit moon valley whilst we were here which was something out of this world! The landscape is just made up of what looks like dripping cvlay but its really solid. I don't know how to describe it but you could imagine you were on the moon (except for the world's highest golf course on the other side)!
