Packed and headed for Ballarat ,booked into big 4 caravan park just near Soverin Hill . Went into town and walked around the shops ,took some photoes bought some groceries then back to van.

3 1 2014 We went to Soverin Hill today it was realy good we spent the hole day there. It was realy well set out there were lots of old buildings, we did a mine tour saw the machine shed and the boiler room. I climbed up a mine tower and took photoes, we watched a wagon wheel being made, saw gold being poured it was 100 ounces. Watched a musket being fired. The red coat soldiors marched up the street ,there were coach rides with clydsdales. There was a bowling alley all made of wood even the balls were timber. I coloured a candle and had a horseshoe printed with Ella,s name. Went into a theatre and saw a stage play of beauty and the beast it was quite funny as they add libed. There was a jewelery shop its name was Rees. It was a realy good day i would recomend it to everyone. We left there and drove up to Eureka Stockade walked around the area and took some picks,time to go home.
