Headed for Bendigo , stopped in Castlemain and walked around the town and had lunch in the park. Continued on to Bendigo, its a big town ,we found the showground and parked beside friends of Pat and Ians. There is a state dressage comp. going on in the arena some nice horses we went and watched for a wile. Had tea then went for a drive around town.

5 1 2014 We got up this morning to find markets in the grounds so we went and had a look bought some fruit. After the markets we went into town and caught the talking tram ,we went to the end of the line where we got off and went to look at the Josh House it was constructed in 1860 as a place of worship for the Chinese . Took photoes of Town Hall, Sacred Heart Cathedrial , Alexandra Fountain which was built in1881, Soldiers Memorial, Hotel Shamrock. Back to the van its blowing a gale there is dust everywhere.

6 1 2014 Drove down to Castlemain John went to the Hot Rod shop, next we went to an antique complex with lots of petrol bowsers and signs one sign was a silcock sign. There were motor bikes and lots of crockery and cristal. We drove up to Maldon ,its a very old town wandered around, had lunch then headed back to Bendigo relaxed then went to the movies to see the Hobbit. Tomorrow we head for Echuca.
