Today we drove into the Darwin Museum we both feel its one of the best museums we have ever been in. There display cabinets were well documented all the animals are well presented, the history of the top end and the cyclone that hit Darwin, also the bombing. There was some lovely art work and a lot of hands on stuff for kids we spent a couple of hours in there. They also had a nice resterant where we had a milkshake we sat on the verandah looking out over the wat...

Drove into Darwin this morning went down to the warf there were lots of photoes of the bombing of Darwin the first bomb hit exactly where the warf is today. We had lunch on the warf barra and prawns and a beer. After lunch we went into the centre of Darwin and went for a walk in the mall not very impressed with the city. Drove around the esplanard then headed back to Humpty Doo.
