We're coming to the end of our trip. After arriving in Istanbul yesterday we went on the compulsory trip along the Istiklal, which has to be one of the busiest streets in the world - no private cars, just pedestrians, a tram and official vehicles. We have been treated to the Navy vessels this week in JBay. together with the tall ships, quite a display. It is the start of a long weekend and the weather is perfect - to make up for rain and 5 degrees in Bowral yesterday. keep on having fun.

Happy to hear that Kathy arrive safely and you are together again. AFL GF about to begin and Peter has decided he will support Fremantle for Kathy. Extremely windy here today. Ken gave us four new chooks this week. One has already been a fox's dinner. I guess it thought if it could evade us it could evade Mr Fox. One other escape has happily returns to capture and we still have one free. Maybe it will provide a tasty morsel tonight. Enjoy your trip. X J
