Hi Amy and Simon,
I think if I ever go to Africa, I'd choose South Africa- although, Nairobi still has an allure to it! But it does sound like though everywhere was special in its own way, South Africa has been the best for you! It's always wonderful when there are friends along the stops! I know what you mean about mixed feelings...goodbyes whether to people/places or both is always hard-makes you sentimental...Enjoy this last leg of the journey! Blessings, Maria

To both of you,
As your trip nears the end, I know you have had an exciting journey and one you will never forget. I have enjoyed being part of it.
Love, Marcy

Hi Amy and Simon,
From both of your accounts, it seems Africa's charm and beauty come with pretty large doses of hardship. But I imagine the hardship takes a back seat to what is uniquely there to see? Maybe down the road as you reflect you can let me know...I'll tell you those gorgeous pictures of nature in Africa do give me a sense of serenity...but maybe that's only half the story as you've experienced firsthand...Happy Adventuring! Blessings, Maria

Hi Amy and Simon,
I too don't think you're bored Simon, but instead doing a lot of processing. When it comes to religion, it is so easy to be disheartened by a perceived indifference. I miss John Paul II, because I just think he was really tuned into people. I have no answers but believe in feelings and intuition. This world of ours does leave us wondering. The more we reflect the more we become fully human. We don't want to be NRB's...Non Reflective Beings. It's good to feel, express, and let this lead you to personal growth. Thanks Simon for your honesty! Blessings to both of you...Maria B.
