Ok, after a really long journey to Knysna ie a whole days journey just to Port Elizabeth, I finally made it to Knysna which is on the garden route. Due to my lack of time I've had to miss out on the Wild Coast which is a shame because I had heard some great things about Coffee Bay. But this country is so beautifull that I think that I'm just going to have to come back one day and explore all the parts that I've missed out.
Anyway Knysna. Once I had settled into to the hostel and freshened up I discovered there wasn't alot of people around and not alot of people staying in the hostel so I was left to fend for myself so to speak. Luckily one of the main reasons for coming to Knysna is to see the Knysna heads and generally the scenery around. As I didn't have my own car I went with the hostel on it's tour although I was the only one on it at the time. But it was really nice and the guide was nice and friendly so it was really worth it. I then got a complementary township tour of Knysna which was quite interesting. There were parts of the township that was as bad as I had expected and other parts that I was really supprised at how nice they were. I didn't take too many photos however as I found the whole idea a little bit weird as afterall this is where people live.
When I got back to the hostel though thankfully I was no longer on my own and I finished off the afternoon / evening down by the waterfront listening to some music and enjoying some wine : D
I only had one night in Knsyna so I only had the following morning which I spent having a quick walk around town before heading back onto the Baz Bus heading for Stellenbosch and the 'Wine Farms'
