The first day of Pushkar was fairly uneventfull so I won't bore you with the details of this.
The second day started out at 5am, leaving the hotel to climb to the top of a hill / mountain to a special temple (which I can't remember the name of) so that we could see the sunrise. Oh my god this was tough! But I had my platapus to keep me going to the top. I have to say though out of two gap trips that were climing this I was third to get to the top which I think is an acheivement in itself and the views and sunrise was defintaley worth the climb so I'm very glad that I did it.
After a short rest in the hotel we went tot he Brahma temple which is the only temple in India that is devoted to him. After visiting the temple we were made to go to the pushkar lake to make an offering and gain our pushkar passports with a small donation, although they did want either 1000rs or 20pounds but somehow I managed to get away with 50rs!
I didn't really do much for the rest of the day as I wasn't feeling my best but we went to a lovely restaurant in the evening where we all chilled out and made Chris tell us amusing stories.
