Managed to get up at 4am for breakfast and then we headed out at 5am to catch sunrise over Uluru.It's quite amazing as Uluru looks like a massive beast that's slowly moving across the landscape, when it's almost pitch black outside and you can just see Uluru as a massive behemoth.It's actually quite eerie, but it looks quite magnificent as the sun rises over it and you can slowly see the familiar red rock.I think I preferred the sunset over Uluru to the sunrise, ...

Me again :) Just at the airport and have another 40 minutes before my flight to Alice Springs (or Alice as it's apparently commonly known). I've enjoyed Darwin, especially the Mirambeena Resort! The staff were really friendly, helpful, and nice so that made a difference. In fact, most of the people I spoke to in shops and so on were really friendly and helpful too. Helloooo! I was in Litchfield National Park yesterday, which was quite amazing. I went on a little tour in a small bus (there were only 7 other people, including our driver - David) and we saw Fogg Dam which is a protected wetland area. Lots of birds and snakes and all sorts of wildlife. Apparently they grow mangoes and apples there as well! Also saw about 3 different waterfalls and even swam in a couple, which was lovely! Boiling in Darwin at the moment. Flight got in at 4 this morning and so I've been in Darwin approximately 6 hours and I'm already wondering what on earth I'm doing here!!
